Public and Private Member Networking Website
The Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals is a family-law organization committed to promoting collaborative law as an alternative to traditional divorce and mediation in Cincinnati, Ohio. The group is made up of roughly 100 members including financial professionals, attorneys, child specialists and divorce coaches.
The website promotes collaborative law
The website equips public visitors with both a simple and an advanced search to locate collaborative professionals that suit their needs. Users can also search by zip code and display the results on an interactive map to see the specific placement of each professional. Miniature member profiles hover above the map providing a link to each member's extended profile.
Members can login and update their own profiles
All members of the group can update their profile by logging into a private site for members only. Each member has the ability to provide his personal, academic and professional background on his or her profile. We emphasized user-friendliness in designing all interactive portions of the site to ensure that all members could easily and reliably manage their profile.
Powerful community tools help the group organize
The member's site also includes a community event-calendar, a member survey/poll, an announcements section and a discussion forum where members can discuss cases and share ideas. All features are controlled by a central admin website where the site-moderator can create events, post announcements, review poll-responses and moderate discussion topics and upload documents for the community.
