- What is the approach?
- Creativity and innovation are at the heart of every website we design. Our approach to Web design projects is broken down into three sub units: graphic design, programming/code development, and project management.. Our approach is tailored to charge the talent and energy with which we work in is divided as follows:
- Project Management
- Each project starts with a discovery phase in which we identify project requirements and key challenges. We begin by completing engineering documents that serve as a channel of communication between our developers and the client. Project management persists throughout the development cycle and is responsible for guiding functionality and interface decisions.
- Graphic Design
- Guided by engineering documents such as a flowcharts, website wireframes and a creative brief, our designers will construct a series of home page mockups each of which fulfills the project presentation requirements in a different way. Once a direction is selected, the designer will make revisions to the home page mockup if necessary and provide secondary page mockups. Each phase requires the client's approval before we proceed. - Code Development
- Once all the content for the site is written, we begin by coding the selected mockups into XHTML and CSS. This process transforms a mockup from a flat image into an interactive web-page with text, links, images and/or live content. All pages of the site are hand-coded to match the design perfectly. Once all the pages have been built, we test them in Mozilla Firefox, IE6, IE7 and Safari. Most of our projects also include server-side ColdFusion or PHP and/or client-side javascript components.
